It's reactive and proactive, it kills and sets up draws, and it works beautifully in a Zombie deck, although it doesn't require it

Or, its a slightly later print run from the initial order, but printed with the exact same card details as sent to the printers in the first run

Honorable Mention: Sample Collector + Tinybones Joins Up Nothing from Murders at Karlov Manor or Outlaws of Thunder Junction is interesting enough to make the list, but I do want to recognize decent haberdashery from those sets

Rather than waiting for turn phases to slowly build up the mana base, this card allows players to sacrifice defense to blow past the standard resource curve

This is a card that shows up all over the place in Magic, but its particularly good here
