Just above the tie ring groove you can seen a faint knife mark where the paper cartridge was trimmed

This is the first iron one I’ve seen

The color is light green just like in the photo shown to the right

With mold seams radiating off both sides of the nose cast mark

The patina is a nice light brown color. The cavity is a paraboloidal. Measures about 0. 52 x 0. 775 inches. Dug from the Corinth Shiloh area.
