As far as being upgradable, here are my basic thoughts on the decks

It works well as the top-end of an aggro deck that builds your board or just clears a blocker so you can attack well

Part of the awkward aspect of doing years rather than sets or blocks is that it has this effect

That there exists an even more expensive, even more packed, and even more financially questionable purchase out there

I ask because it seems all over the place

The success of that set remains to be seen: Wargamer's Matt Bassil called it "a set made for no-one", but some cards are seeing price spikes thanks to demand from MTG Commander players
