Bulmers Norman Size:MM106 benefits from a stronger rootstockA medium bittersweet cider apple. Large conical yellow green fruit, ripens early mid October but doesn't keep well. Valued for its vigour and heavy cropping. One of the many varieties imported into the country from France in the early twentieth century by Bulmer's Cider Company. Has a hard tannic taste and fast fermenting juice. Permission to use photograph by Kevin Garrod (Monnow Valley Cider) is gratefully acknowledged.
