It's not our favorite artwork, and it's not got much of a presence in popular decks
That's not a lot of cards, but I can assure you that they've still left a lasting impact on competitive Magic
I suspect the issue designing this deck was that most of the better equipment are expensive and they wanted to keep the price down
Whether its saddling an opponent with a Steel Golem to shut off their creatures, dealing huge burst damage with Bronze Bombshell or Illusions of Grandeur, or straight-up winning the game with Nine Lives, theres no shortage of options
