It has green leaves which alludes to it being slightly more mesic growing, meaning, not too much sun and a good regular wetting. The flower spike is very attractive and stands out among the Tillandsia's because of the great color of the bracts and flowers, being a sort of bright mauve, pink and with purple flowers.
