It's hard to overstate how powerful this can be, especially in higher power levels where some of the most efficient counterspells don't answer creature spells

It turns out, the answer is yes

With Jayemdae Tome, a slower pace and mass removal cards like Wrath of God or even Balance, which was unrestricted for an unbelievable amount of time, you could sit in the Tower and all but dare your opponent to try and do significant damage to you without overextending while the game swung inevitably towards one in which your deck would dominate

Unique Abilities Abilities on a card can be completely unique to that card, or be a common ability that is re-used on other cards

So, in the late game, Eldrazi Unbound is utterly dominant
