The two rings are faint & look like they have been lathed into this bullet

The nose is sharp & the cavity is a deeep cone

The nose cast sprue was nipped off at an angle & a real nice pinch mark was left in the center of the area where the nose cast sprue was removed

The back is a depressed channel type & it has a real nice greenish/brown patina

If you have the 1st Thomas handbook (1996 no revision) I think that bullet is listed there but I cannot find my copy

Notice the easy to see teat at the base of the cavity. You will find this bullet to be in very good to excellent dug condition. The patina is a light white to greyish colors with a few streaks of a bright white.,,this can be seen in photo 4 & 5. Just my guess but this looks like an imprint from the inside of the bullet mold.
